Sorry, I zoned out...

Proma Nautiyal

Hiya,

I know I took a week long break from writing to you. It’s because I want these emails to feel as natural, fun, and read-worthy as I can. When I am not inspired myself or am not able to zero down on just one thing to write about, I can’t be passing on that kind of confusion to you, as well.

So, I took my time. I tried to dissect the reasons behind my coffee-immunity which I found pretty jarring and of course, my calendar which seemed to attack me with a swift adeptness of a ninja, just as the Monday morning light hit my face.

I had to do something about it. Couldn’t let the troops keep moving without strategising some moves myself.

So this is what I did…

At the face of turmoil, I sit back and look deep into the matter. Basically, I go statue for the world around while my head is having a busy conversation about what caused this situation. Be it coffee immunity or my calendar scaring me to death.

I realised, I was intrinsically tired, to the core. I had not been sleeping well, I have been using coffee as a fuel and not a beverage anymore. I was expecting it to give me Infinity Stone like powers. Huh!

I then went on to do a full research on the matter to find out that I have incurred quite a sleep debt, and like my friend Pavlos rightly pointed out, I was in the red.

Let me just put my findings in a video format here, with loads of GIF… 😊👇🏽

All in all, I cured myself of those empty stares into space, all the zoning out, and the wishes of lying around like a manatee, sleeping for half my life. Watch the video because otherwise you wouldn’t have any clue as to what I did to come out of it.

Right now, I am out and about as always, but yes, this is the one thing that I will repeat over and over again…sleep is important. Sleep at the right time is even more important. Sleeping for 7-8 hours is crucial.

With that note I will take my leave. I will be sporadically visiting you in your inbox every now and then. Just because I want to provide you with some value, laughs, and happiness every time I visit.

Until next time,

Take care & stay safe…

Cheers,

Proma
